Homework Policy

 Homework is assigned on a nightly basis, Monday -Thursday and is to be completed neatly by the following morning. Homework assignments can be found in Google Classroom, under "Homework." Students can follow the link below and log in with their google user name and password. Fifth graders are expected to spend approximately 60 minutes on homework. Students are responsible for copying their homework assignments into their planners each day, and I ask that a parent sign the planner each night. Students who come to school without completed homework will spend their recesses working until it is completed. 
Homework is not intended to be a punishment, but rather a way to reinforce the many standards we will cover in class each day. Show your child that you take it seriously and they will as well!

Math

Math curriculum for the district will come from lessons developed by Eureka Math(formerly ENY) All lessons and worksheets can be found on their website, as well as on the district website. For videos and parent tips for each lesson, go to the Euraka Math help button above, then select grade and module number.
